Moorleaze holiday cottages have everything you need for that great escape. Spacious accommodation, comfy beds, a terrific location away from it all, yet close to great places such as Longleat, Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Stourhead, Stonehenge - the list goes on. If you want to relax there's a large heated indoor swimming pool, tennis court, games room, fields and woods to roam in to your heart's content: just some of the reasons why many guests return again and again.

The cottages themselves are very comfortable and well-equipped, from dishwashers to washer-dryers. There are four types of cottages, all of which feature open-plan living areas:

1. Mendip, Nunney & Wookey are two bedroom cottages with views to the courtyard from the kitchen, and to the Mendips from the lounge area. Mendip has an en-suite king and an en-suite twin bedroom; the others have a king, a twin and a family bathroom 
2. Shaftesbury, Stonehenge & Wells are three bedroom cottages, with views from the lounge area into the courtyard. Each has an en-suite king downstairs and two twin bedded rooms plus family bathroom upstairs
3. Cheddar & Glastonbury are the largest three bedroom cottages. Cheddar faces the courtyard and the Mendips, whilst Glastonbury has two sets of french doors looking out to the hills. Both have an en-suite king, two twins and a family bathroom 
4. Longleat & Stourhead are our largest cottages. There's a downstairs en-suite twin, and upstairs an en-suite king, further king and two twin bedded rooms plus very large family bathroom. The open-plan living area is exceptionally large, so for example the dining tables seat 10 adults and two high-chairs with ease

Free wi-fi is available in all the cottages, though we must stress that rural broadband is not super-fast.  It's fine for emails and surfing, but streaming TV can be tricky.
