Thrilling though it was to have "The Sunday Times" refer to us as a "sure-fire child-pleaser" with "well-appointed cottages", the reviews we most treasure are from delighted guests. (Actually our real favourites are those accompanied by a "thank-you" bottle of wine - or on occasions even champagne!)
