Stourhead Rhododendron season has arrived!

The rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias are now flowering at nearby Stourhead - just 10 minutes away from Moorleaze. It is a glorious time to visit as the photos will show. Sadly it was a cloudy day when I visited and took the pictures but you should get an idea of how picturesque the lake and grounds are. In case you are wondering the third photo shows an ant house (I only knew that because of the sign, otherwise I might have though it was for ground-dwelling bees, if such a species exists…)

We do have some availability for the weekends just before and then following the first May Bank Holiday so why not reserve your cottage now and get to see Stourhead in all its Spring glory? The holiday weekend itself was sold out many months ago, so apologies if you would have liked to stay at Moorleaze that weekend.
